Is it a good time to start up your own business?
There has been a massive increase in business start-ups over the last few years following the recent recession. Many people found themselves made redundant and out of work and needed to think fast about what they could do. With so many people looking for work it became extremely hard to land a job and some found themselves leaving University or returning to work with little of few opportunities available to them.
This started to get many people thinking that they may be able to set up their own business. It may be that previously they did not want to take the risk of leaving a secure full time employed job for a self-employed lifestyle, but with the secure job gone, they now feel ready. This has actually helped many people and although the job hunting process does seemed to have got easier again, many are choosing to stay self employed rather than seek employment.
