Maintaining Concentration At Work

Work is a stress upon the mind, it’s both to its benefit and against it. One of the biggest disadvantages of stress is that it impedes concentration over time, which in turn disrupts the ability to work effectively. It’s impossible to avoid stress at work, but you can improve the way you manage it, which will allow concentration to be maintained for longer periods of time.
One of the biggest factors affecting how much stress you can manage is how rested you are before being exposed to it. Stress levels are benefited if your mind is calm. If you are not well rested, your mind will be in a scattered state. Make sure that you get the right amount of sleep at the right time.
Sleeping too much is also not ideal. Oversleeping disrupts your natural rhythm and can make you lazier. Avoid this by using an alarm to wake you up at a good time.
